Why Monty Cries

Monty cries because all her friends are callous,
I am a rebel for love and I must prove overzealous.
Monty understands a camera but can't imagine a mirror,
A life of liberty where her tongue is her feeler.
I take her to the dam and life becomes clearer,
Monty cries because her heart has no healer,
Her sister is mean but the streets are meaner,
She likes to take a walk and I'm obliged to please her.
Monty cries because she has no boyfriend,
The teen is in crisis when love is a dead end.
I bring her bones and assure her war is a trend,
That all are weaker where our sway extends.
Monty promises death with every message she sends,
A four year old Rottweiler with a wolverine blend.
Monty cries because nobody at home will sing,
She has too many dreams and her war cry must ring.
Monty is cunning and can't be a puppet on a string,
She scales the wall easily and doesn't need wings.
Monty cries because the grass at her new home isn't green,
Someone stole her and to find her I am keen.
I'd let you have anything but not my cultured teens,
Monty come home, we are who we've been.
Monty has to whine with every second her meals are delayed,
She looks like Princess Leia and this force won't be played.
I know all about life and Yoda would be amazed,
We are only as valid as the dreams we've chased.
Monty cries because now she is stuck in the maze,
Not all homes are hospitable so we came up with the 'base'.
Monty cries for everything God forbade,
Life is a desert and experience comprises the shade.
Life is eternal and spontaneity cuts through it like the blade.
Monty cries because she could not call a spade a spade.
