Life is an idyll and death is a hard escape.
Don't be suffocated by iniquity and  red tape.
I attempt the superhuman and I need a cape,
Not to mention an equally unique costume to drape.
Nothing lasts and that is joy's rate.
Lose yourself to find yourself and become great.
Feel the mirror and try to retaliate,
For believing is vision and light will be late.

Spend your time wisely and don't be in a rush.
Democracy can be flawed when the masses are hush.
Art is rebirth claimed by the brush.
We change ourselves for every crush.
Morality is immoral and Sade made an inordinate reactionary push.
This is a quest for freedom and creating is a perpetually bush.
Reject disparity and reject abuse.
Only the brave will fight when power is misused.

Keep your mind lucid and always be confident,
Don't shrink from battles and don't shrink from incident.
Life is a journey and death is not an accident.
I have to bring the simplicity of African wisdom to the Occident.

Keep your head up for acceptance is our best precedent.
In Africa we don't know who comes first, the nation or the president.
The Tower Of Freedom has assertiveness as president.
Love is the way and romance is a coincidence.

Forget about money and set your heart at ease.
When serenity is a beach, creativity is the breeze.
Understanding is key and intolerance is sleaze.
Success is miles above the birds and the bees.
We cannot be lesser than God decreed.
Loving is the way to plant the seed.
Even the viper must learn as it feeds.
There is infinite strength in the soul that heeds.

Fight against oppression and for gender parity.
Give all you can in aid and charity.
Let go of greed and let go of vanity.
Worshipping yourself is vile and worshipping others is insanity.
One turns away in pride before he strays.
Integrity is when you do what you say.
Reason is to love yourself before you play.
We have dreams to live out and the Beast to slay.
