Solitary And Exemplary

Genius features as the only item in my itinerary,
Communication has changed; what is oppression in binary?
Creeds will mislead and conquest is primary,
The march for freedom is ever extraordinary.
Life is full of wonder and some will accept anything,
Watch out for morality when God permits everything.
Poetry is my way of living without saying many things,
It's 2019 and racial bias is still a cruel sting.
Some destroy themselves worse than the devil they are stomping,
I like to smoke marijuana when my hair needs combing.
Money is power and Africa is sobbing,
Guns are evil and the wars aren’t stopping,
Democracy isn't catching on and Libyans are still running,
Why repress Africa when she is crushed and still stunning?
Stand your ground for extremism can be cunning,
Support the left when the right is bigoted and shunning.
Turn to the far east and mobilise for Rakhine state,
Tyranny will lie and negligence will be late.
None is sure of what is Syria's fate,
Rebellion is intelligent and dense is hate.

Children starve in Yemen and can't get out to skate,
Sittings and sittings won’t fill an empty plate.
Belligerence will refuse whatever ceasefire date,
It begins with you whether denial or checkmate.
I am from Kenya and I must see clearly,
Who will fight for the love we cherish so dearly?
We too are poor and borrow from China yearly,
Somalia next door is deadly and dreary.
Sudan might confirm what all are fearing,
What can we do when the tyrant has lost his hearing?
Agitate a little and get shot while cheering,
Never let go of the fortuitous ship you are steering.
