My Utopian Project
I begin by affirming that infinite good springs from humility,
Man can see his flaws and that is virility,
Save our women from myths of fertility,
Honesty is a port while intellect is a facility,
Come fly with me away from the desert and its aridity,
It's a shame that free thought must still prove its validity,
What would separate from love and vivacity?
The struggle is real; thou shall not eat veal,
Nothing will offend this rebel with nerves of steel,
Again, grant our women the freedom to feel,
Man is capable of love and that is humanity's seal,
Revolt still remains as our mustard seed,
Life is a race with rebellion in the lead,
To be or not to be, how do you plead?
To feel or not to feel, how do you bleed?
A moment away from bliss is hardly fair,
Nothing is superfluous in this experimental lair,
The Tower Of Freedom wants you to dare,
Treasure your convictions with each and every stair,
Expression is golden and silence is rare,
Life is a journey and the best will fare,
"Nature is repetition!",
Exclaims this unseeming soothsayer.
Bureaucracy is unnatural and will not be allowed,
Living only to flower or to take shape these rebels have vowed,
We are survivors of authority and will not be cowed,
The shame is unescapable when to idols you have bowed,
Breathe a perfect prayer for this is sacred ground,
Just as sacred as anything Jesus or Moses found,
I say that to bless and not to astound,
Love we need a kilo and affection we deserve a pound
Isn't it amazing that we dream our true self?
Our desires are worth more than any creed on a shelf,
Give to the needy for that is wealth,
Love yourself and enjoy infinite health,
In this our land only freedom will dwell,
We are the future and time will tell,
The bird needs a nest and the mollusc its shell,
Nature is perfect, each and every dell.
