Mother Africa.

Africa is an elephant,

And Asia is her left ear,

Europe is her generosity,

America is her conscience,

Which wants to be aloof,

At our achievements some still heckle and goof.

They are still evaded by nature's proof,

Their words still a thorn in our hoof,

Their betrayal a cumbersome crack in our roof,

To the hatred pray and say 'Poof',

To the ignorant compassion is our move,

Africa's soil reminds that God alone earns our reprove,

Our motherlands they raid and our loved ones they remove,

From love and kindness they are far removed,

I love God,

Like a magician loves his magic.
